island¹s village life. The original buildings in the old part of town have a
sleepy fishing village feel.
It¹s a lovely and safe little village. Old imers
often sleep outside in front of their family shophouse. Villagers sit
outside and chat once the sun goes down.
In the newer parts of town internet café¹s, a wide selection of
international restaurants, several art galleries and occasional live
music make town worth a stay.
The night market is a lovely place to sample
local food. For shopping Thongsla is the best place on the island.
